Avianca is expanding its reach across the Americas with a new direct route connecting Dallas, Texas, and Bogotá, Colombia.
Starting 26 May 2025, travelers will have more convenient access to the vibrant culture and rich history of Colombia’s capital city. This new service reinforces Avianca’s commitment to strengthening connectivity between the United States and Latin America.
Dallas-Bogotá Route Details
The new Dallas-Bogotá route will operate four times a week, providing a total of 1,440 seats weekly. Avianca will utilize its modern Airbus A320 aircraft, each with a capacity of 180 passengers, ensuring comfortable and efficient travel.
Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe offers comment on the proposed route. “We’re thrilled to offer our customers more travel options between the U.S. and Colombia.”

US Network Addition
The Dallas-Bogotá route joins Avianca’s already extensive network connecting the United States and Colombia. These existing routes include popular destinations like Miami, Orlando, New York, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa.
They provide connections to major Colombian cities such as Medellín, Cartagena, Cali, and Barranquilla. This vast network demonstrates Avianca’s dedication to providing comprehensive travel options within the region.
