Aviation analytics data firm Cirium has released its Global On-Time Performance Report for August 2025, spotlighting the world’s most punctual airlines and airports.
The report offers valuable insights into global and regional airline punctuality, airport efficiency, and flight cancellation trends, showcasing which carriers and hubs excelled in delivering timely travel experiences.
Global Airline Punctuality Rankings
Azul Airlines topped the global charts, achieving an impressive 92.15% on-time arrival rate, earning the title of the world’s most punctual airline for August 2025.
Aeromexico followed closely with an 87.63% punctuality score, securing second place. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) claimed third with 87.20% of flights arriving on time.
Delta Air Lines and Qatar Airways rounded out the top five, posting 83.93% and 83.91% on-time rates, respectively.

Among large airports worldwide, Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport stood out, with 91.26% of flights departing on time, earning it the title of the most punctual large airport globally.
Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport followed closely, showcasing India’s growing aviation efficiency.
